Here you go:

(all figures listed as SAE HP)

------------------------------------------
T1 Bentley:
	1600: 60@4400 (best)

T1 Clymer:
	1600: 60@4400 (best)

T2 Bentley:
	1600: 57-60@4400 (upright Beetle engines)
	1700: 59@4200, 63@4800
	1800: 65@4200, 67@4400
	2000: 67@4200

T3 Clymer:
	1500: 53@4000
	1600: 65@4600

T4 Clymer:
	1700: 85@5000
------------------------------------------

Perhaps these figures alone don't tell the whole story... a friend
who's had both 1700 & 2000 buses describes the 2000 as an absolute
*screamer* compared to the 1700. Also, some of the later Beetle engines
are listed as "46@4000 (SAE net)"--not "SAE". Didn't horsepower
measurements at some point switch to being taken at the wheels instead of
at the crankshaft, thereby suffering apparent decreases due to drivetrain
loads?
