I still need a little clarification.  As I understand this, you say the exit 
hole is below the A pillar about 1/3 of the way down the fender, and that I 
should be able to see it if I look in the space in front of the doors where 
the hinges are.  Should I be able to see a wire coming out of it if the 
doors and fenders are mounted on the car?  Or do they block the view?

The hose itself is

What frame?  The sunroof frame?  So the tube has a short plastic section, 
but I'm not sure I understand where that is.
