If it passes beta and is ready for marketing then I'm sold! Now, how about
making a higher output generator...?

Just as a test, how many of you would be willing to buy such a beast if the
cost were, say $30 plus your old VR?
The advantages would be better regulation, virtually infinite lifetime, and
no generator noise on your radio. Current output would be the same--30 A,
determined by the generator.
