We learned the e-tape lesson *big time* this summer. While driving along Hwy 101, happily listening to the tunes on the stereo, the e-tape on one of the wires melted (105 degrees outside, possibly 120 inside the bus) and slid down. The raw wires touched the e-brake mechanism and shorted everything out. We though we lost the stereo, but luckily didn't. Oh yeah, I also learned the "don't turn off the bus when it's hot" lesson that same day! :) Emily '64 Notchback 1500S '69 Westfalia
