	Does the fuel pump work?  When you turn the key to the "on" 
position, the fuel pump--strapped to the front torsion tubes--is supposed 
to buzz for about 2 seconds.  It should be audible from inside the car if 
things are quiet (e.g., you have in fact only turned it to "on" and not 
to "strat").  (The brain doesn't let it run for longer than this when the 
car's not running.)
