While my wife was parked at the school waiting to pick up the kids, the car in front of her rolled back and hit the bumper of our '71 Squareback. Today the insurance adjuster for the other person's insurance came over the house to look at the car. The right side of the bumper is pushed back about 1 inch and a little higher. There are no dents anywhere, either on the bumper or body. The right side bumper bracket is bent and the end of the rubber strip on the bumper is torn on the right side. He's going to cut us a check for both bumper mounts, a new rubber strip for the bumper and labor. I made sure he understood this was a Type 3 and not just a Bug for when he started looking for prices on parts. Any idea on an estimate for these parts so I'll know if we get a reasonable settlement? Thanks Dave
