Well, I like the kit I got from California Pacific.  They advertise in the
VW mags if you need their address, #.  The front seat covers were $55, and
I got a padding kit and a video guide for interior restoration (very
helpful).  I think the whole total was about $115 including shipping.

After cleaning up the frames and painting them, I did the whole
reupholstery job in a day.  Cleaning up everything took 2-3 days for
things to dry, etc.
