While loading groceries into my '71 fastback-both front & rear open to accomodate all I purchased-a small Ford w/Mother + 2 sons parked right next to me. The Mother got out of her Ford laughing and told me when they pulled up her son exclaimed "Oh my God, that car doesn't have an engine!" She told him that it does and then told him it was a Karman Ghia! I explained it was a Type III, Fastback and showed her son where the engine compartment was. My son (6 yrs) and I had a good laugh.
