Jim, Good News! Just located a +/-3% of scale pressure gage in the WW Grainger catalog. Scale is 0-30 psi. Price is a whopping $6.00. Granger is an industrial supply company, but they will sell to the average Joe. And you know that the gage won't be made by "The Taiwan Zipper Company" :) Mike PS: The whole purpose of leaving the gage hooked up all the time is basically a sanity check when your ride goes down. If you see full pressure you won't waste time messing with that part of the system. I've had some problems with vapor lock (914's) and the pressure would drop only when it was hot...after short trips...luckily, I had the gage there when it happened and I was able to locate the problem. And based on your advise about more potential leaks, I've removed my oil pressure sender and my oil temp sender... no sense knowing what is going on in my engine if another potential oil leak can be avoided! :) Besides oil pressure and overheating failures are very rare problems! :)
