The 9 digit number is the VW number.  The 10 digit number is the Bosch 
number.  Parts bought from VW will have both numbers, those from Bosch only 
the Bosch #.

I don't know what the last 010 is, although it is common for Bosch to do 
this.  It may just be a date code, but I don't think so.  This part will 
work as long as the two wires in the connector will fit.  DON'T take these 
out of the connector to make it fit!!!  The next person who fools around in 
there (it could be you installing the relay) could fry the brain!

I have a pile of original equipment relays if this one doesn't work for you. 
 On the other hand this is not your problem anyway, right?
