Re: (Fwd) Gas heaters


Back in the days I drove my car through the...mmm..winter
I used my factory BN2 gas heater whenever the temp went down to 20F or so to get the chill off the car, it was very nice, if it was -20F it was a godsend!

I'd lose a couple MPG using it this way to get the chill off in the morning
and yes, if properly set up, with a minor modification (installation of a 
larger B+ line)  there very safe and reliable.

the down points..  theres 1 speed, FULL BOAR, so theres no thermostat.

you need to cut some big holes even with the factory setup to install.

theres no distrubution, the driver gets all the heat dumped on him (OK with me!)
