When I was younger I was quite the modeler. I think that's when my customization personality came into being. My airplanes were never factory fresh, they were strafed with bullet holes and showed signs of an engine fire at one time or another (you don't wanna know about the tanks... :) But now I prefer the pre-made models like the 1/18 scale Porsches by Maisto. Working steering, sun-visors, targas, spring suspensions, rubber wheels that rotate, made of metal and pretty good detailing. They cost $20 to $40 each. If you're talking the pre-made models then, by all means, count me in! A working rear hatch *and* deck lid would be so cool. By simple I mean a good looking shelf model with a moderate amount of chassis/engine/suspension detail.
