I removed anything that I could unscrew, pry, or bash off. That was the easy part....going back on with a proper fit was another story. I simply could not put everything back together as tight as it came from the factory. The vehicle is now more likely to groan,creak, squeak, shake, rattle and roll, leak air, etc., etc. etc. than before. I would be reluctant to do another one in a similar fashion.
