Volkswagon nuts,
I've asked about this before but didn't really get a response so
I'll be more descriptive.
I found a red box under my spare tire with a VW emblem on it.
Imprinted on it are the words, Amtlich Zugelassen
PRUF-NR.

Being stricktly a english speaker myself, it makes no sense to me.
Inside the box is a reflector looking thing that unfolds into a
triangle. Obviously for road side emergencies.(that's what I call a
pessimistic manufactorer.)
My question being, did a previous owner just pick this up somewhere,
or is it some kind of rare accesory, or do all you guys out there have
one?
