Sorry, I omitted this from the last post.

I apparently own a "N" version Squareback - due to its displacement
(1584cc) and hp output (50hp).  The other possibility was an "A" version,
with a 1493cc mill which actually is listed as having 2 more horsepower!  I
suppose that the "1600L" rear hatch script only denotes that it is a
Variant versus the "TL", which I think was the Fastback(?).

If anyone wants me to check these European VW ID Guides for their T3, we
might be able to see if the info is indeed the same for U.S. cars - it
should be.

Mail me.  Maybe there is some other wierd info out there.
