I used to buy every manual I came across, but when the Bentley manual 
finally came out I stopped.  That was partly because my cars were all from 
the late era and partly because I found that the Bentley manual covered most 
aspects of the early cars as well.

There are the obvious exceptions: carbs, wiring diagrams, subtle engine 
changes.  But most of what you need to know is in the Bentley manual.
