What would be really nice is if someone constructed an extension pipe
that ran
from the exhaust collector to the side of the vehicle which would have a
flange
to attach the Stinger. An L-shaped pipe would allow the Stinger to
point its
exhaust to the side of the vehicle, or an S-shaped pipe would still
allow the
Stinger to point to the rear but its physical location would be on the
outside
edge of the vehicle (like the exit of a standard muffler). Imagine a
{-shaped
bracket, a Stinger on each side of the vehicle... :P
Anyway, those are two good choices. I know the Turbo Tuck (sp?) will
only fit
the Bug due to the Bug's more open fender structure.

Toby,
Been there done that, I took two flanges (that matched the bolt patern
of the system.) and an old J-tube, cut the pipe to fit, welded, and
bolted the stinger to the adapter. You HAVE to have a LONG stinger or
you will get most of the exhaust back up into the engine compartment.
(by the way you need to cut the pipe to angle the stinger down, not
straight, to fit and to allow the passing airflow to push the fumes out
the back!)
This gives you the sound, but not the risk of direct engine damage from
a rearend bump.
And Pat MAKE SURE YOU GET A TYPE 3 SYSTEM, a bug system will NOT work!
