Available from a number of sources they are a very bad idea, especially now that these cars are old. The problem is that the bumper brackets just bolt to a plate that is spot welded to a rather thin piece of sheetmetal. There is nothing here that could remotely be considered structural. In the best case you will simply pull fragile chunks of body off the back of your car. Worst case: your trailer comes loose and kills someone, and you get to spend the rest of your life with that on your conscience. Please remove it.
