3 People, Now that I have lowered the Square and had the alignment done this morning, the last step will be to adjust the box. Thankfully, I blew off about 5 kilograms of grease, dirt and other road grime deposits so that it is now possible to actually see the box. I have quiet a bit of play at full lock and when the wheels are straight - more than 25mm. Last night while doing the lowering, we checked the steering dampner and it looked to be fine - not the OE unit either. Thus, we left it alone for the time being. I do have the dampner in case. However, from what the Haynes Manual says, it probably is in need of a steering gear box adjustment. What Haynes does not really point out is whether or not the gas tank has to come out to get at the adjusting nut. It looks like it does not have to be removed, but still, the space available for doing any work is limited. Anyway, IF anyone has done this, and is willing to share their wisdom, I would appreciate to hear from you! I will attempt this adjustment as soon as possible. Please mail me with your constructive comments. Thanks, Patrick
