Hi you all (Al),
about the mounting for the pop-out latch; mine had the holes in the 
pillar but not treaded. Actually both notches I own(ed) had the same. I 
used popnuts (funny word that is) with a thick custom made washer. 
Regarding the slots in the B pillar, do you know what is supposed to go 
in?? If you hang the window in there by the two lips on the window frame 
it first of all damages the pillar and secondly it can move up and down 
quite a bit.
At a swapmeet in Holland I bought plastic thingies that slide over the 
lips of the window frame, but even then I can still move the window up 
and down. So I thought something should be fitted into the slots that 
limits the freeplay. In the parts book for type 3 ,I don't see a specific 
part. Can any of you help me with this one???
