The part # is 311-905-865B and is a one year only part. I was guessing at prices since I have generally paid ~$15 for these, but it is quite possible that I have never needed one for a 71. Rocky Mountain has these for $79.95. It is possible to take these apart, but getting them back together properly can be challenging. It is possible that something could be cleaned up to make the old one work again. It is also possible that you could put in parts from an earlier or later unit to make one that would work in a 71. The different types certainly have many common parts. Sorry, I don't know for sure. Best bet for a parts unit would be a 72-3 111-905-865K at $16.95.
