Re: [T3] engines and mirrors

The crack is at the oil pump. Last year the stud snapped off at the block so I tried to drill it out and then tap it. Drill slipped and broke off a chunk of the block that also went into the stud hole. (It wasn't pretty.)
Now I have a steady drip that causes me to park above a drip pan that has collected quiet a bit of oil. My local VW guy tried to fix it but as you could tell, it didn't work. Jim, I was hoping you would see this post. Could you tell me how much a case would be if you had to ship it to NJ? Contact me off list if you want. I would like to stay with a T3 case so I can build up later.
