That explains a lot about your replies - I was reluctant to assume one or other of us was being dense, but was running out of ideas for an alternative explanation. ;-) So, everyone, it's a possibility if anyone gets oil leaking from the breather or air cleaner (or the breather cap pops out?) that the cause is simply the rocker cover gasket has slipped at the top.
