The third digit of your VIN is the year. This car started out its life as a 72. 
You already have the late IRS suspension, which includes 2 rear engine 
supports. Yours are on either side of the rear of the engine and they replace 
the early single rear support, which really did very little.

I've seen IRS type 3 which had been taken off road, and the rear mounts broken 
from the body of the car. Actually the welds didn't break, the sheet metal that 
the mounts were welded to just tore away. I don't think adding the early style 
rear mount will add any significant strength, but you could still do it if you 
found a 68 or earlier donor car.
