[T3] T-III Muffler Tail Pipes...

A few calls to regular muffler shops in Philadelphia found that shops here are not reluctant...and all too happy, and well-experienced, they say, in cooking up ways to make or somehow concoct a tail pipe for a 73 VW muffler.
Maybe this is the case elsewhere...in that replacement tail pipes for T-3s seem impossible to find on-line at the usual places.
Will post info on how this goes. ? I'd RATHER spend $15 or $17 for a replacement tail pipe to clamp on myself, but...maybe that era is over.
