As are almost all greases. I think you could buy graphite loaded
grease before I was born, but I've personally never seen it. It was
replaced by MoS2 loaded grease, which is a better lubricant.
Still, if you have metal parts that actually touch, no amount of
grease around those parts will keep them from making electrical
contact.
