With the Bug dist cap, it's a wonder that Brian's car ran at all, but it would 
certainly be worse at higher rpms. Brian's was the only time I can remember 
running into a dist with the wrong cap, but it's certainly a possibility. 
Another possibility is that the mech adv is sticking; that will also give more 
problems as the rpms go up.

It's easy to test the mach adv, just grab the rotor and turn it CW. It should 
turn smoothly about 15 deg then run into a hard stop. When you let go of it, it 
should snap back smartly. If it's sticky, put 2 drops of oil in the felt pad on 
top of the shaft (under the rotor.) If it doesn't work at all, send me the dist 
to rebuild.
