Why was this not mentioned earlier?Ê I watched the films, and he said to use a jack and to pry.Ê I spent at least twenty minutes with a pry bar and a hammer hitting as hard as I could, and I was only denting the body and the plate.Ê I cannot figure out where to put the chain, or how it would shorten to pull up on the spring plates. :/

If putting in the drive line in did not work, I was going to try and burn the inner bushings with a torch.

Are they expensive?Ê I guess I could call a F.L.A.P.S. and see if they rent them out.

Where did you hook it?

I know I have to be careful, but the results is what keeps me going.Ê The outer was trashed long ago, so I am sure the inner is also.

Thank you all,
