Re: [T3] type3 Digest, Vol 3, Issue 1

Yes, but does that 55HP 1 liter Suzuki engine get you to 60 mph in 10
seconds? Seat five adults? 5-star safety ratings with 8 air bags, ABS,
VSC, etc?

Okay, but the Metro cost less. Fair enough.

EPA ratings (my 2005 model year):
Metro: 44 miles per gallon (mpg) city and 49 mpg highway
Prius: 60 miles per gallon (mpg) city and 51 mpg highway

I have 100K in 5 years on my Prius. Prius batteries are almost all
continuing service after 250-300K miles. So in another 10 years I MIGHT
need a new battery. At that time, Toyota will pay ME $200 to take it,
defraying the $1K cost of a replacement battery somewhat. They are then
recycled.
