Factory shop manuals show up relatively often. ÊLast year I got a 1965<br>
edition manual. ÊThey're not exactly cheap, and you could definitely get<br>
by with other manuals (like the steal you describe above), but I think<br>
it's money well spent. ÊNext in line would, of course, be the Bentleys.<br>

In any case, the best manual, no matter who prints it, is a greasy one.<br>

I have many of my factory shop manuals (and a few others) scanned into PDF format, and available on DVD.<br>
3.5gigabyte of VW shop manuals.<br>
Transmission (parts 1 & 2), Electrical (parts 1 & 2), Fuel, Fresh Air (includes the gas heaters), Front End, Brakes, Fuel Injection (aftermarket books, including Bosch), Factory Type 3 manual, (1961 thru 1966, includes the body section for all models). Factory partsbooks for T-3, T-34, and T-2. Type 4 factory shop manual. Etc, Etc.<br>
I cannot legally sell these due to copyright laws, but I do ask for "donations". I will probably have to buy a new scanner before I am done.<br>
I do also have a few of my manuals that are duplicates. These I might be willing to part with. I am also, always looking ot buy them, if the price is right.<br>
