But I have to say, she's not even close to the brink. Old, as in she's an early
enough model to sport the push buttons for headlights and wipers, rather than
the knobs used in later models, but she's definitely not even close to the
brink yet. To demonstrate how much more she has to give, she took me on a nice
300 mile trip, from the George car show all the way to </span></font>Cape
Town.<br>

She is slated for a re-spray, purely because she needs it. She has less rust on
her than my beetle and the beetle is 5 years younger.<br>
<br>
I'll post some pictures and provide links at some point.<br>
