<x-flowed>Thanks for the advice, Jim. I have a 71 fastback for parts. I have 
tried to clean the valve but it doesnt seem to help. I'll exchange the 
breather boxes and see if that helps. Is there a good way to remove the 
breather box without the special tool? I have tried several things to 
no avail. Also I have had difficulty synchronizing the carbs. This is 
the first dual carb setup I have dealt with. Also the first pancake 
I've had. I have looked at purchasing either a Uni-Syn or the Empi 
Synchrometer "snail". Any idea if one is preferable to the other?
