Just check the screws and washers cover the same patch they were bolted to
before - usually you can see the marks where they were even if you cleaned them.
If you think it may be wrong, centring the engine is only a matter of
measurement to each side and checking it's even.

call it a novice mistake, but i loosened my rear engine mounts to try and
clean them up a little bit before putting the engine in tomorrow.
as i read through my bentley tonight, i come across a note that says that
these should never be loosened or else the engine must be recentered on
installation. what is involved in this "recenetering" process? did i blow it
majorly by removing the rear mounting?
i guess i need to read before i mess with anything. it seemed so innocent at
the time.
