PS Just to be clear, I wasn't inferring that it is
irrational for my buddy to want a car just like mine because I/we think
my car is some rare or unique or otherwise stellar example (it isn't!)
but rather because according to his nostalgic criteria his HAD to be
virtually matching (i.e. a '67-69, white, semi stock, chrome vw rims,
lowback seats, restored driver condition etc etc) thus he rejected a
bunch of other available squares (and epic notchbacks IMHO!) due to the
additional cost of getting them into this color/configuration and
associated extra cost of travel/delivery.
