Select the email that you want to respond to, then choose Reply.

Edit out the parts you don't care to respond to and write your response 
starting in a new line. Leave a blank line between the original comment and 
your response, so that reformatting doesn't confuse things.

If you want to start a new thread, just send a fresh email to 
type3@vwtype3.org. That address is just a computer somewhere that will resend 
your message to everyone on the list.

Welcome to the Type 3 email list. It's always nice to get new members from 
distant parts of the world. I think it helps us keep things in perspective.
