RE: [T3] 1970 Squareback For Sale

I saw a response recently that said it was ok to post vehicles (type 3)
for sale here. What better place to post it? You guys have had as much a
hand in fixing it as I have. Anyway, She is asking $3900.00 for it. Is
this too much? It's so hard to tell. Prices for these are all over the
map.

I felt that you got jumped on a little harshly. I don't see anything
wrong with an occasional post of something type 3 related for sale.
There's a line to avoid crossing, and it's a pretty poorly defined line,
but the object is to keep the commercial posts to a minimum while still
allowing folks here to find the parts and advice they need.

Hand in hand with this is the idea that sales transactions should be
taken off list asap.

I see nothing wrong with single posts, but if a given message starts to
appear multiple times, in my opinion that's crossed the line.

At any rate, this is just one person's opinion.
