Good point about the al trim, ask the guy who installs it when its supposed
to be put in , and if they say "after the glass is installed" walk back out,
that stuff is easily ruined and hard to find in goodshape.

And check around to choose a glass shop. Some don't
have a clue how to install the aluminum trim. I found
a shop that works with local antique and collector car
owners, and in my case an owner who had an old Ford
truck of similar vintage as mine. They successfully
re-installed the glass after I repaired some rust
around the opening.

It was $40 that was very sell spent.
