Don't feel bad, the laminated ones are not easy to get in, especially if
your using the seals with the short lips.

Thanks for the comments.  I think I will have a shop
do the installation just for that reason.  I put a
windshield in my '74 bus and cracked it in two places,
you would think I would learn but that do-it-yourself
VW owner thing kicks in and...
