I have several pumps. I do not know the condition of them, and right now
I don't really have the time to go through them. If you do not want to
pay the prices they are getting out of them on EBay or the Samba.
Install a pump from another make of car. My 71 fastback has the pump
from a 1985 Ford Ranger Pickup on it. It has run with that one for about
5 years. It takes some adapting to get the fuel lines to work, and to
get it mounted. It only has 2 ports instead of 3. You eliminate the "Y"
connector.
I had a phone call the other night from a person wanting to know about
it. He put one on his Squareback, and it is running fine now. He said it
cost him $20 at the salvage yard. It is the pump that is mounted on the
frame rail on an 85 Ranger pickup. Propbably fits other years too.
