One of the funniest posts I ever read on the VW Newsgroup was from
someone describing his steering wheel experience. It sees that he had
removed the Wolfburg crest and the nut, but his wheel was still tight
in place. He'd tried lots of things but it just wouldn't come off.
The newsgroup encouraged him to yank harder, so he did.
He yanked it as hard as he could, and it came off and hit him
squarely in the face.
It was a very well written post, and it had me laughing so hard there
were tears running down my face. ;-)
BTW, to get the crest off, slip a knife under the bottom edge, push
up, and gently lift it out.
