I personally like the look of a lowered car. Not slammed...but lowered. And some bigger diameter wheels....not crazy big like 20" or anything, but 16 or 17s. I think it improves the appearance of the car. If it is done correctly, it can also improve the handling. Handling...not ride! Less side wall in the tires and less suspension travel will result in a harsher ride. I personally like that to a degree.
My Square is lowered two outer notches in the front and runs on 195/55R15s on the front and 205/55R16 on the rear with 40 years of sag on the rear. I drive it all time in the non-salt season here in Michigan. Our roads are terrible. It is harsh at times, but in general I love it. I drove it out to Idaho, Hershey, and Oregon for the first 3 Invasions. It really likes the smooth western roads.
Lowering is really a personal preference thing.
As for the 07 Invasion, there isn't one. We do the Invasion every other year. See you all in 08!
