RE: [T3] Pan Gasket


The OEM gaskets are actually moulded in corners,.  They are flexable but the
curves are already in them.  I hope I can find another good used section for
the Right rocker, I got it cut off today and the gasket is pretty bad.

I've never played with this stuff, but from looking at the OG stuff 
as installed in the cars, it looked pretty flexible. I believe Berg 
had some comment about a certain style of late pan gasket (foam, 
maybe) that always creaked, but I don't know what it was that he 
preferred.

I just wonder what you got that was too stiff to go around corners. 
That would never have worked at the factory.
