<x-flowed>Sophy and I attended the Michigan Vintage VW Festival yesterday and had 
a great time.  The weather cooperated even if it was a bit on the cool 
side for this time of year.

Had a chance to chat with Roland Metz who I had met at the 04 Invasion. 
 Good to see you again Roland.  Also had a really nice turn out of Type 
3s.  I think I remember 7 Squares, a really nice Type 34 Ghia and one 
late Fasty that showed up late.  Of the Squares was all the way from 
California as part of the Gene Berg Memorial Cruise.  Really nice 
showing of Type 3s for a midwest show.  No Notches which is unusual.  
Even had 3 Type 4s, I think.

Bob Heydt had some car trouble coming down in his roadster and didn't 
make it.  Bob, what happened to your engine?  Heard it was a 
spectacular failure.

I will try to post some pics in my PhotoBucket account later.

All in all a good show.
