I just fitted one to my late 64 T34. Identical to original except rear part is bakalite instead of metal. Works well, removed voltage drop and made the dashlight dimming more reliable.

Anyone have an early headlight switch to sell? I need one for my 65 square. The original has 8 terminals and the small mounting screw on the front. BTW- would a switch from an early beetle work? There all over the samba and I was wondering if it was the same switch?
