Two terms to look for when purchasing old vw parts. Keep in mind that OEM 
should be a part VW made or gave permision to make. OEM can be used. NOS 
should be a new uninstalled part with no defects.

One needs to always ask one self why is that NOS part still around? It could 
be that its the old part the new part replaced years ago stuffed in that old 
box. It could be a defective new part that just didnt fit or work right to 
begin with. So be carful with what people think or say is NOS and or OEM.
