I went out to the car this evening, and now the linkage on the left carb is much better, it doesn't get stuck up over the top anymore, I think things were just gummed up from over the winter and the spring wasn't quite strong enough to pull it down. I did measure out both rods as per the little booklet last summer, and everything looks proper. Thanks for all the leads though, I think the Notch, although working properly, may not be quite the way it should be.
