[T3] Exhaust

<x-flowed>The muffler shop said my muffler/tailpipe was too rusted to be welded?  I 
went to the EMPI dealer and bought $50 Fasty/Notch/Square quiet/stock 
exhaust.  It went on pretty good, although we had to weld one heatexchanger 
nipple at a weird angle to get the flanged ends to slide on flush.  The 
21/2" silver "accordian" duct that EMPI supplies to replace the stock steel 
ducting is already tearing before I even get it installed, while the 40 year 
old VW 1" silver duct to the "flapper valve" is in great shape!  Is there a 
source for GOOD silver ducting in 21/2"?  I'm thinking of using 21/2" 
radiator hose rather than than the CRAPPY stuff they make now?  Mike,
