It was done as a test piece I believe, so he wouldn't wreck a nice Notch when doing it properly. I suppose when you're reinforcing bits and pieces, it's a help to try different things out on a car that doesn't really matter. Don't forget that the Notch sold quite well in Germany! Dave.
