Re: [T3] disassembling the vent wing for new seal, how do you take it apart?

<x-flowed>I don't remember the size of the rivet tool I used. Your best bet would be to order the rivets and take them with you when you go to get the tool. The setting procedure you describe is exactly what I did. I'd recommend wrapping the vent wing assembly with a rag or some padding when you do this, just to be on the safe side. It would be easy for the hammer to slip and do some damage.

Those are the ones. I replaced the rivets when I put new seals in my Square's vent wings. It turned out well. Make sure to use a rivet setting tool (the kind you strike with a hammer).
Thanks for the tip. Is there a particular size setting tool I should try to get for these rivets? Also, is the idea to angle the vent wing assembly (removed from door, of course) so the flat rivet head is set against a hard surface (in my case a mounted vise) and then strike the hollow rivet end down with the rivet tool/hammer?
