hard starting again,have to pump the pedal furiously while turning the key. When started, the car runs at speeds over 10 mph fine. Only 400 miles into a tune-up and valve adj, new GEN and regulator installed at >that time.
Did a visual, no gas leaks, all inj connections and plug wires are tight. Took a few plugs out, normal wear. Swapped out the AAR. I swapped out the points asthey had a nasty pit, did the dwell/timing and rpm.
Now car idles better, but still has no power from a dead start. Even when car is warmed and runnng, when I come to a stop, and I could floor it with no response. Another symptom: I can get the car to idle at 1200-1300, but after about 4-5 minutes, of idling in park, it will just slow down and eventually die.
